Chalet in Fakra

A cottage unit being part of a complex built in the 1980s next to Fakra slopes needed to be refurbished. Focus was on how to integrate a sofa, two couches, a kitchen with an open bar for at least four people in a compact volume, with very inclined ceilings on the first floor. Each inch counted and so the protruding chimney was removed to gain more space. The wall along the balcony constituted the main element that would hold a recessed TV with linear lighting extending along the ceiling. On the first floor the volumes with less than 1.2 meters in height are affected for cabinets with alternated oak, white or light blue painted wood. A refurbished cottage with a cozy atmosphere, ready to wake up and ride the slopes.
