Paphos, House on the sea

A client wishing to invest in various places acquires a house facing the sea in the much appreciated Paphos coastal Resort in Cyprus. This three storey house recalls the ones of the Greek islands of Mykonos or Paros, all in white stucco. Renovation is about to keep the architecture’s identity and highlight it. Thus box springs and night tables are done in concrete and painted in white stucco. The old beige ceramic flooring is replaced with big sizes of white concrete tiling effect. Seaside elevation windows and doors are enlarged and the protruding chimney which partially blocks the view to the sea is replaced by a recessed one with TV above. Space modifications are mainly done at basement so as to have that floor functioning independently, as a guest house. A guest WC is created, a kitchenette/bar, and two bedrooms having each its own bathroom. Walnut wood and blue colors contrast with the white shades of the project. A subtle lighting runs all along the garden to the sea and a music system completes the ambiance. A seaside house where one can dream & dance, from sunset till dawn.
